This tilting cage is suitable for trapping the birds which can be hardly caught in mist nets (e.g. wheatear, stone-chat, whinchat, redstart, black-redstart, shrikes but also other insectivorous birds up to the size of blackbird). This cages can be successfully used near nests and in all localities where it is impossible to prepare the vegetation for the application of the net fence. Coatting in the upper part is made of fine polyamide textile.

The trigger needs to be set very softly (at the edge of the frame). It is necessary to check the clap-nets more frequently in hot weather and when exposed to the sun, otherwise the caught birds could get overheated.
Live meal worm (larva of Tenebrio molitor) is usually used as a bait.
Two pieces of triggers are delivered together with each cage.
