This trap is very effective in catching sparrow-hawks, kestrels, long-eared owl and great grey shrikes, but it may also be used for trapping other species up to the size of buzzard. Basket dimensions are selected as universal with regard to smaller species of birds of prey and owls, upon an agreement it is possible to prepare even a basket of larger dimensions.

Setting of the trap
The device can be placed in the free area also under the place were the regularly caught birds sit. Its utilisation can be very successful, among other situations, when it is set nearby the aviary, trapping.
